About the Club
The Dam Bike Club is a cycling club located
in Johnson County, Iowa who primarily rides in the hilly North Corridor
area. We are frequently found out on the backroads headed to Solon,
Morse, Scales Pointe, Oxford, and Tiffin. We may also be found riding
the great urban trails of North Liberty, Iowa City, Coralville, and Cedar Rapids.
We are dedicated to promoting the sport, recreation and utility of
bicycling.
Mission
The mission of the Club shall be to promote recreational bicycling activity in all forms as part of a healthy lifestyle and
practical means of transportation. This mission shall be accomplished
by conducting rides and other bicycling related events, providing social
opportunities for members, promoting bicycle safety, supporting local,
state and national bicycling and trails organizations and advocating increased support for cycling among the general public, government agencies and elected officials.
